In the early 2000’s when she was in her early teens Savanna became
Inspired by the local music scene in Boulder Colorado watching live rock
and reggae bands, and going to underground raves. In turn this
underground music scene opened her mind to new worlds of music. Before
she decided to become a dj she was an avid viola player playing in the
local City Orchestra and loved every bit of it. Before
she thought about producing music she met Kevin Loudon aka Dj Lowa who
taught her fundamental rules about break beat, beat matching and how to
really “master the mix”.
After receiving the knowledge of what
to really listen for in each record she spun, she began to not just dj
for fun but rather dj as an expression and as an art form. After her
personal breakthroughs with music and discovering what she could really
do, she wanted to express herself more by producing her own music.
From her decision to dive deeply into the dance music scene, nothing
has got in her way. In 2010 she enrolled in Full Sail University for her
Bachelors degree in Music Production. She has played multiple venues
with many local artist as well as played same shows with international
artist such as Dj Icey, Micro, Jes, Dj Irene, Filo and Peri, and many
more.
Some of her biggest influences thus far are D-Nox and
Beckers, Hybrid, & Jody Wisternoff as these artists to her are
musical masterminds. Lady Sage is mostly known for her sexy house beats,
hoppin electro grooves, tribal drums, chord progressions and music that
touches your soul. You can expect excitement when she is on stage and
she knows how to rock the crowd. With her in depth mixing abilities and
passion she shares with her music, she is what a true dj stands for. In
January 2013 Lady Sage signed with Nuphonic Rhythm and is releasing
multiple remixes and ep’s on their label.
American Hustler
clothing company out of San Francisco is also sponsoring her and is
providing her with the freshest gear to wear on her gigs. Lady Sage is
not only a dj and producer with a background of musical knowledge, she
is also a production company owner who throws shows with her tag partner
Dj Lowa .The name of her company is Sound Level Music.
